Step One:  Onboard Properly - 69% of properly onboarded employees are more likely to stay with your company longer than 3 years AND are 11.3% more effective.  This is Step 7 of the Hire for DNA Process and the beginning of Talent Development.

Step Two:  Create a Job Benchmark for each position we are focused on.

Step Three:  Evaluate all Individuals in this Position using unbiased, validated assessments:

  • Behaviors – How do they do the job AND how they communicate.
  • Motivators – Why they do the job.
  • Competencies – What are their skills (strengths and weaknesses)
  • Sales Skills Index – What is their understanding of the strategies to sell successfully.

Step Four - Develop an individualized custom development plan for each individual.

Step Five – Conduct a group training session dealing with communication issues and techniques.  Especially helpful for sales professionals as it has been proven that prospects like to work with those that are similar to themselves.

Step Six – Conduct a training session for managers to discuss each of their team members.

  • Coaching and development
  • Individual communication issues

Step Seven – Assess all individuals to make sure you have the right people in the right seats on the bus…no round pegs into square holes.
